Thrust

Thrust is the force which moves an aircraft through the air. Thrust is used to overcome the drag of a plane, and to overcome the weight of the rocket. For an aircraft to move forward, it must have more thrust than drag. A smaller aircraft might get its thrust through the propellers as where bigger aircrafts get theirs from its jet engines.
