What is Aeronautics?
Aeronautics is the science of flight and scientists and engineers are working together to make flight better. These people study about aeronautics how and why they fly. Using this information, they figure out how to design a safer and cheaper planes.
What is Aerodynamics?
Aerodynamics is how gases (such as oxygen, nitrogen, water vapor, argon and carbon dioxide) travels through certain objects such as a plane or its wings. Anything that moves through air reacts to aerodynamics. Aerodynamic principles that make flight possible were little known or barely understood as recently as one hundred years ago. Although their roots can be found in the fluid dynamics of ancient Greek science, it was not until the scientific breakthroughs at the beginning of the twentieth century that it became possible to design successful flying machines.
